Curated by @sbs_simon, tomorrow’s "Listening Session" on Radio Hinter gathers artists with unique takes on what a listening session could be. The focus is on those exploring the introspective side of music and sound, with each artist shaping their timeslot around sounds they find compelling, while considering the broader program.

In collaboration with the Rietveld Academie, artists will be presenting their works during the radio sessions. This edition, Elyse Null’s (@elyse__n) work, will be featured.
“Elyse Null's artistic approach fluctuates between the definitively visible and a fictional dimension. Driven by visual themes of light and time, shadow and traces, there exists a constant play between presence and absence, space and non-space. In doing so, unfolds a formal simplicity — graphic elements softened by a delicate feel for texture and color. She fixates on the essential, on a sense of purity, reworking the image to seek an equilibrium between the shapes, creating images which are sober, yet radical in their efficiency.
This series investigates the negative and positive as competing interpretations of reality. By isolating typically discarded fragments of the negative, the project elevates them as focal points. The tension between 'real' and 'constructed' emerges along their borders. Focusing on these margins, there exists a dialogue between what is present and what is missing, while emphasizing the physicality of the negative—its texture, volatility, and materiality.”
