Dear friends,
During ADE, Radio Hinter will be presenting a program of its own on Thursday the 17th of October. In cooperation with Rings of Neptune, the program will dive into a scala of different styles, with a focus on ambient, downtempo, dub and other electronica.
Kicking off the day, Radio Hinter has invited Bob Waardenburg (AD393/ @bobwaardenburg.393ad) to perform with his audiovisual installation, called Spatial Scanner. Spatial Scanner is an interactive work that responds to the visitors' positions within the space. Afterwards, Verity (@____verity), DJ Merlin (@dj__merlin__), and Marijn S (@marijn__s) will play their takes on electronic music until 20:00.
From 20:00, Rings of Neptune will take over the program until 01:00. RoN is an Artist Collective, Label & Creative Agency, inviting from the collective; Rubi (@itsmerubi), Luna Ludmila (@lunaludmila) & Nies (@soundslikenies) for an Ambient, Downtempo, Electronica night.
Finally, we present our timetable design with works from Klaas Westra (@klaaswestra), an Amsterdam based artist. In the design, you see his faces. What is the essence of these creatures or humans? Perspective plays a significant role in Klaas' work. The interplay between vibrant colors and the melancholic, non-binary characters is presented in a delicate, nuanced way.
